"The State" Columbia, SC Tues. morning, July 10, 1934, Obit. Frederick was the former Treasurer of Dorchester Co. and died at his home after a lingering illness of several months. Funeral services were held at his home. Born in Canada he came to this state at the age of 18. After marriage they made their home in Harleyville, SC until 1924 when they moved to St.George. Frederick was elected treasurer of Dorchester Co. in 1922 and served in that capacity until 1928. He moved his family to Barnwell Co. in 1933. He was a mason and member of the Methodist Church.
