Mrs. danby was born June 4, 1922 in Laurens, and died December 19, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Johnny D. Ford and Nora Elizabeth Johnson Ford, She was a graduate of the Brookland-Cayce High School Class of 1940. Surviving are her Daughter, Brenda (Ken) Smith of Little Mountain; son-in-law. Ron Goodwin of Greenville: three grandsons, Brandon Smith, Sam (Claudia) Goodwin, Rik (Lacy) Goodwin; five greatgrandchildren, Andrew, Timothy, Robert, Gwen and Katherine Goodwin, She was Predeceased by her husband, Ed Danby and daughter, Gwen Goodwin and a brother, Lewis Ford.
