George Bowker Sr., 87, was found dead last night in his home at 11842 Laporte av., Worth township. His hands and feet were bound with neckties and his face was cut on the left side.

The dead man's son, George Jr., 45, told sheriff's police he and his father were bound and robbed by two men wearing rubber masks and handkerchief over their faces. He said his father died after he was beaten by the two men, one of whom was armed with a pistol.

The younger Bowker, a dishwasher, said the robbers took $6 from his father's pocket and several shotguns from the home. After freeing himself, he went to a neighbor's home and telephoned police.
