Agnes R. Arnott was born in Meade Township, Huron Co., Michigan to James Arnott and Kate McLeod Arnott. Her mother died when she was 11 and she helped raise her younger brothers and sisters. She was a hard worker, excellent cook and wonderful grandmother.
She married Charles Pease Noyes and was mother of Donald, Melvin and Kathryn Irene Noyes Eliason.

Mrs. Noyes, Former Hotel Employee, Dies
Mrs. Agnes Noyes, 81, a Muskegon resident 30 years and former manager of the cafeteria at the Occidental Hotel, died Monday at the Clark Memorial Home, Grand Rapids, after a long illness.
Mrs. Noyes was known to many as cafeteria manager.
Born March 28, 1885 in Huron County, Mrs. Noyes came here from Rogers City. She attended schools in Huron County. Formerly Miss Agnes Arnott, she was married in Boyne City to Charles P. Noyes. He died here in 1959. Mrs. Noyes attended Methodist churches.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bert Eliason of Alto; a brother Donald of Vassar; two sisters, Mrs. John R. Johnson of Flint and Mrs. Archie Breakie of Bad Axe; three half brothers and a half sister.
