Son of Thomas Ford & Mazie (Riggs) Ford.
Clifton "Kippy" Ford, best known as the World Champion Mule Brayer in 1980, died May 4, 1988 in Vancouver, Wa.
Born Feb. 10, 1921, in Newport, Ark.,
Ford has been a Camas-Washougal resident since 1949.
He worked for Crown Zellerbach,
Gregg's Roofing and Hiway Fuel; attended
Camas Church of God of Prophecy and was a former member of Washougal Grange and Twin City Saddle Club.
He loved horses and enjoyed the rodeo
where he was a cowboy and a rodeo clown.
He was also an avid elk hunter.
Ford is survived by his wife Katheryn at
home; son Larrie; daughter Nola;
brothers Bill and Wade.; sisters Ina,
Zelda, Louise and Nadine; many nieces and
nephews, his brother-in-law Charles Rick
and sister-in-law Barbara Rick.
Predeceased by his parents; three brother's
James, Guy, John W.; a sister Mary F.,
Services were held yesterday May 9, 1988 at Brown's
Funeral Home followed by burial at Fern
Prairie Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Smith
and the Rev. Clifford McIntosh officiating.
