Theophilus Blake "TB" Clayton, was born on March 4, 1904 in Lawrence County, Tennessee to his Parents; James Wiley "Jim" Clayton, and Miller Glynn Moore Clayton.
He was blessed with five siblings; Thelma Clayton McClain, Floyd Samuel Clayton, Effie Clayton Marston, Jessie Everest Clayton, and Irene Clayton Marston.
He was a Native of Lawrence County, Tennessee and he lived in the town of Leoma most of his life. He was a Monument Salesmen, and a member of the Leoma Church of Christ.
His first Wife was; Mamye Pauline Crews Clayton, and they had one Biological Daughter; Barbara Clayton Ringelstein. They also adopted a Daughter; Carole Clayton Daugherty. In the year of 1925 Mamye became pregnant but sadly the Infant was born too early and was stillborn. The Infant is buried at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery. TB and Mamye, later divorced.
His second Wife was, Marjorie Lee "Margie" McDougal Clayton. TB and Margie, lived many happy and great years together. Margie, passed away on January 10, 1980 and she is buried next to him at Mimosa Cemetery.
He was the Grandfather to four Grandchildren; Pamela, Jeffery, Rodney, and Kent.
TB Clayton, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 1975 at the age of 71 years old in Leoma at the Crockett General Hospital.
His Funeral Service was held on Monday, July 28, 1975 at the North Funeral Home, and Brother W.C Quillen officiated the service. Burial followed the service at the Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
