Bessie, of Evadale, passed away at Harbor Hospice.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Evadale, a member of the Beaumont Rose Society, was on the board of the Tyrell Park Garden Center and was instrumental in the layout of the botanical garden. She was also a member of the State Floral Society where she often judged.
Survivors include her husband W. J. Burrell; daughter Yolanda Franks; sister Bobbie Jean Kirby; brother Robert Jake Goins and grandson Jeffrey Lynn Franks.
