Annabelle (Ann) Allsup, 83, of San Angelo died Thursday Dec. 3, 2009 at her residence.

Ann was born Sept. 1, 1926 in Fletcher, OK, to Clifford and Cora (Kuntz) Dunn. She was married to Lloyd Allsup in 1952. Together they operated Plains Farm Supply, in Plains, TX, for 26 years before retiring to San Angelo in 1975. Lloyd preceded Ann in death in 1991.

Ann was a faithful follower of Christ, and in recent years, had become a loyal member of Glen Meadows Baptist Church. Her friends there always describe her as "the little lady that drives the Corvette."

Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Friday Dec. 4 at Glen Meadows Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Butts officiating. Burial followed at 3 p.m. at the Plains Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Johnsons Funeral Home.

Ann is survived by one son, Steve Allsup and his wife Misty Renee Allsup of San Angelo; one brother, Merle Dunn of Custer City, OK; one sister, Mary Richerson of Raymond, MS; and granddaughters, Stephenia Bennet of Brownfield, Shay Ann Lowery of Plains, and Megan Cowart of Plains. She had four great grandchildren.
