EGELHOFF - LAWRENCE
Franklin Howard Egelhoff of Norden, Nebraska and Miss Lillian Lawrence of Sparks, Nebraska were united in marriage Saturday, February 25th at the Methodist parsonage in Valentine by REV. O. W. Michel in the presence of Maynard, Sylvia, Stella and Erma Lawrence, brother and sisters of the bride. The newly married couple plan to make their home in Norden.

Lillie Leona Egelhoff
Lillie Leona Lawrence was the sixth child of Joseph Herbert Lawrence and Belinda Ann Strawn Lawrence. She was born February 4, 1918 in Keya Paha County at the family homestead east of Sparks.
Lillie attended Shadley Creek school through the eighth grade, and then graduated from Keya Paha County High School. She attended college for one year and taught school for three years. She married Franklin Howard Egelhoff at the Methodist Parsonage in Valentine on February 25, 1939. They lived two years on the old Roosa place an in 1941 moved to the Mel Allen place five miles south of Norden. She lived here until her death on March 13, 1994. Lillie and Franklin were blessed with four children.
Little was an active member of the Methodist Women and was also a 4-H leader.
Lille was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Stella Reagle and Erma Haas, and four brothers; Alfred, Lloyd, Maynard and an infant brother.
She is survived by her husband Franklin of Springview, her four children: Fred and wife Dian of Valentine, Evelyn Barnes and husband Bill of Lincoln, Richard and wife Anneliese of Valentine and Louise Heinert and husband Ed of Valentine. Also surviving are two sisters Clarentine Turner and Sylvia Grooms of Valentine and ten grandchildren.
Services for Lillie Egelhoff were held Tuesday, March 15, 1994 at the United Methodist Church in Springview. Interment followed at the Norden Cemetery. Sandoz' Chapel of the Pines was in charge of the arrangements.
