Otto William Deffner was a son and one of the eight children of George and Wilhelmina (Minnie)Geodek/Deffner. He married Eleonora Katharina Meyer on 15 Feb 1909 in Blackwell, Kay Co., OK. They were the parents of five children: John Otto, Paul, Ernest Walter, Ivan Dietrich, and Juanita Emma Katharina.
