Ethel May Perkins Hadley. Daughter of Charles Wesley Perkins and Lotta Mae Trask Perkins of Wenham, Massachusetts. Wife of Albert Clinton Hadley of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. Mother of Olive Albert Hadley Ten-Brink, Clara Caldwell Hadley Poole and Charles Wesley Perkins Hadley.
She was the second oldest of 5 girls born to her parents. Her mother passed away due to a fire in 1902 and she was later raised by her step Mother Mary Towne. Later she became a Ladies companion to Clara Adeline Upton Hadley of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, where she met and married Clara's son Albert Clinton Hadley. They lived in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, with a winter home in Florida, till the depression hit. After her two oldest daughters moved out to the mid west and found it likeable, they convinced their parents to make the move as well. Ethel and Albert bought a home in Denver, Colorado at 1539 St. Paul Street and lived there till after Alberts death and Ethels need for constant care, at which time she moved to Trinidad, Colorado to be closer to her youngest daughter Clara. The house remained in the family till the mid 70's and still stands today.
