Mrs. Teresa C. Jennings, 52, of RR2, Laceyville, Pa. (Jenningsville), passed away unexpectedly at her home early Friday morning, Nov 11, 2005.
She was born in Mildred, Pa., on Aug. 24, 1953, a daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Striney. Growing up in Sullivan County, Pa., Teresa graduated from Sullivan County High School.
Years ago, Teresa was employed by the Endicott Johnson Shoe Factory in Mildred, Pa.
In her spare time, Teresa enjoyed playing bingo, especially at the Rought Hall American Legion in Black Walnut, Pa. She also enjoyed making crafts, solving puzzles, working in her flower garden and going on trips to Atlantic City, N.J. Teresa and her family loved spending time at their cabin in Forkston, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, Frank D. Jennings, with whom she has been with for the last 30 years; two stepsons and their wives, Danny and Kate Jennings, Lincoln, Del.; David and Kim Jennings, Springville, Pa.; and a step daughter and her husband, Patty and Barry Conyves, Camptown, Pa.; a brother and his wife, Francis and Jean Striney, Erie, Pa.; a sister Pauline Striney, West Pittston; four step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Rose Gulich, who passed away on Nov. 23, 2004.
