He was the son of Antoine-Nicholas Bonin and Marie Elisabeth Dalcour. He married Julie Carriere on 08 October 1853 in the Immaculate Conception Church, Keeseville, Essex, NY. Antoine died at his son's home, (Eugene) at the age of 84.
