The son of Benjamin & Ann (Ladd) Wilmot, he married Elizabeth, the widow of James Heaton about 1644 in New Haven Colony.

Benjamin Wilmot was one of the signers of the original compact or "fundamental agreement" at New Haven on June 4, 1639.

The children of Benjamin & Ann Wilmot:
1. Hannah b. Jan. 25, 1645, m. (1) Samuel Miles (2nd wife) and (2) Miles Merwin
2. Mary or Mercy b. Feb. 16, 1647,
3. Elizabeth bpt. Sept. 23, 1649, m. John Mix



PLEASE NOTE: Except for the tombstones that are in the basement of the Center Church, ALL TOMBSTONES (IF THERE WAS ANY REMAINING) WERE MOVED TO THE GROVE STREET CEMETERY! THERE IS NO TOMBSTONE REMAINING FOR THIS PERSON
