Christopher Bewertz/Beaver/Baver was born 4 June 1775 in Greenwich Township, Berks County, PA.; baptized 16 July 1775 in Spitzenberg, Sponsors: his uncle Christopher Eckenroth and Eva Weibel (GR, page 55; "Records", Volume 3, page 332). (WK-book, page 526)
Family tradition indicates that when Christopher became of age he was apprenticed to Valentine Boyer of Assace Township, Berks Co., PA. to Elizabeth Boyer, the daughter of Valentine and Elizabeth (Kuhn/Kien) Boyer whom he married on 14 July 1805 in the presence of his mother and stepfather - Margaret and Michael Hartman. (GR, page 206; "Records", Volume 11, page 198).
Christopher and Susan Bevertz/Beaver/Baver lived in Windsor Township, Berks County until his death on 5 March 1863 and her death on 25 January 1865. Both are buried at Zion's Church, Windsor Castle, Pennsylvania. (WK-book, page 527)
