Edna Pearl McCannon, 83, of 2105 Douglas Ave., Burlington, died at 418 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 1996, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Nov. 3, 1912, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Robert and Maude Blythe Graham. She married Walter Forrest McCannon on Jan. 31, 1931. He died March 21, 1972.
Mrs. McCannon was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Walter Jr., Bill and Donald McCannon, all of Burlington; two daughters, Margaret Strauss of Dexter and Sandra McCannon of Burlington; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, one brother and two stepsisters.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 830 p.m. today in Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. McCannon will be at 230 p.m. Saturday in Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Milton Geisler officiating. Burial will be in Carman Cemetery, Carman, Ill.
A memorial has been established.
