Of Superior Dies

Mrs. Rose Eleanor Grosso of Superior died Tuesday in a Boulder hospital following an illness of about two months.

She was born in Avondale, Feb. 9, 1908, to Sherman and Philomena Hobson and moved with them to the Superior area in 1910.

On Jan. 5, 1927, she was married in Lafayette to John Grosso, who is a jaintenance mechanic at the University of Colorado.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, John Jr. of Oceanside, Calif., Thomas E. of Tacoma, Wash., Richard F. of Lawton, Okla., and Victor A. of Superior. Another son, Robert S., died in 1934. There are also three grandchildren and a brother, Sherman Hobson of Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Calvary Bible Church in Boulder with Rev. C. William Shaffer of Broomfield officiating. Interment will be in the Louisville cemetery. Henning-Howe Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
