Obituary from "Ottumwa Courier," January 13, 1908:
LAWSON-Sunday, January 12, 1908, at 8 p.m., Miss Sylvia Lawson at the age of 20
years. Funeral services will be held from the late residence, 1420 East Main
street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Mormon elder and assissted by the elders of the city as a choir. Interment will be in the Shaul Cemetery.
