Mrs. Fanny R. Boddy died Friday morning May 26th at her home in Beechwood Ave. She had been in her usual health and had been to the woods near her home Thursday afternoon. At about 9 oclock that night she was taken ill and passed away at 3:30 the next morning. She was born in the Town of Wethersfield in 1850 and was united in marraige to Dr. Wm. M. Boddy in 1872. Mr. Boddy died about 15 years ago. Mrs. Boddy has been a resident of Castile about 4 years, having moved here from Gainesville, purchasing the Gillettee house. The deceased is survived by 1 son, Dr. R.J. Boddy of Brooklyn; 1 sister and 2 brothers. A short prayer was held at her home on Monday. The Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church in Hermitage at 2:00 with burial in Wethersfield, Rev. Rob. conklin of Hermitage officiating.
