Warren, Emmitt Edward, age 84, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008. A visitation with the family present will be held this evening, from 6 - 8 PM. The Celebration of Life servicebe held Monday, July 21, 10:00at the Rose Hill Friends Church. The graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Emmitt born February 27, 1924 in Booneville, AR to Herbert and Della Warren. He was a World War II Army Air Force combat veteran, an employee of Continental Trailways for 36 years, a member of the local I. A. of M. and American Legion. Emmitt had a love of farming and gardening and enjoyed his family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carlene, of the home, sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon & Jo Warren of Morrilton, AR, Sheridan & Bev Warren of Rose Hill, KS, Charles & Linda Warren of Altamont, KS; daughters and sons-in-law, Janelle & Jeff Johnson of Rose Hill, KS, Becky & Jeff Robinson of Derby, KS, Stacey & Glen Pearson of Rose Hill, KS; a brother Grady Warren (Alice) of Jenks, OK, a sister Charlene Blackwood of Van Buren, AR; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two on the way. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 837 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS67211.
