Mrs. Gertrude Belle Adams of Montezuma age 87, died in the hospital at Clinton, Monday morning, June 29. Surviving are a daughter; Mrs. Hazel Griffin of Montezuma; and a brother, Clair Fortner of Geuserville, Calif. Funeral services were held at the Brown Funeral home in Montezuma, Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Harry Acton officiating. Burial was in the Thomas cemetery at Newport.
