HUSBANDS'S DEATH
Mrs. Ethel Reynolds, 77, whose husband Bert E. Reynolds, was buried following funeral services this afternoon at the funeral home, died suddenly this morning at their home, 811 Elm Street. Mr. Reynolds, 79 died early Tuesday morning at the Cass County Memorial hospital, to which he had been admitted Monday.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reynolds will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Roland funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Anita, where Mr. Reynolds was buried this afternoon.

RITES FOR MRS. BERT REYNOLDS HELD TODAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Reynolds, 77, wife of the late Bert E. Reynolds, were held at 1:30 this afternoon at the Roland funeral home, the Rev. R.A. McBlalin officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Anita, Mrs. Reynolds died suddenly yesterday morning at her home 811 Elm street, two days following the death of her husband Services for Mr. Reynolds were held yesterday afternoon.
She was born in Cumberland Iowa , Jan 1, 1889, the Daughter of Adam T. and Flora Buckley Maddux and was married to Mr. Reynolds in Atlantic, Iowa June 28,1911. She had lived in Cass County most of her life. Mrs. Reynolds has been in failing health for some time.
Surviving are a son, Virgil E. Reynolds of Des Moines; five brothers, Fred Maddux of Crosslake, Minn., Virgil Maddux of Jefferson, Harry Maddux of Red Oak, Arthur Maddux of Vancouver, B.C. Canada and Oscar Maddux of Esterville: two sisters, Mrs. Alice Smith of Mora, Minn., and Mrs. Edith Marcy of Braham, Minn., and five grandchildren, Mrs. Darrell Anderson of Wiita, Mrs. Orville Tanner of Atlantic, Dennis and Patti Jo Reynolds of Des Moines, She was preceded in death by a son Lloyd Reynolds four brothers, John, Adam,Floyd and Walter Maddux and a sister Mrs. Grace Ury.
Sidney Larsen, accompanied by Mrs. Kenyon V. King, sang "Beyond The Sunset" and "Lead Me Gently Home, Father." Casket bearers were Sam Levine, Fred Malone, Darrell Anderson, Claude Malone, Vernon R. Fowler and Orville Tanner.
