Mavy was the oldest child of Nathan Alexander Jones and Amanda Allice Cummings. She married Everett L Wade 14 May 1910, in Alva, Woods, Oklahoma, but he died of typhoid fever before he was twenty years old, leaving Mavy and an unborn child. Their daughter Everetta was born in March of 1911, but she died in August of 1914. Mavy married George William McEwen 22 Aug 1911, in Victoria, Victoria, Texas, and they had one daughter, Ruth Esther. Mavy married for the third and last time to Lenard Carl McKinley, about 1920. They had no children.
