Austin embraced his life with zestful exuberance. "I love you hard like a rock," Austin expressed his love for his mother in this way, a love that could never be crushed, a love that is enduring. Austin's apprenticeship with his father leaves sustaining and priceless memories of their deep love and camaraderie. For Shane, the bond of brotherhood with Austin creates a lasting tie filled with amusing boyhood memories to cherish. With the innocent curiosity of a child, Austin once asked, "What color is the wind?" Wrapped in the loving arms of God, he now knows. Austin's life gave light to the hearts of many.
