Goldie was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church of Hagerstown.
As a young woman Goldie lived and worked in Frederick.
Goldie is survived by two sons, Guy Davison Martin and Paul Kenneth Martin both of Hagerstown, four grandchildren, Debra L. Martin, Robert L. Martin, P. JoAnn Martin and Paula Kay Martin, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Goldie is also survived by one brother, Jacob R. Palmer of Hagerstown.
Funeral held at the Norment Funeral Home, Hagerstown with the Rev. Dr. Lester Kauffman officiating with internment in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Mrs. Goldie M. Palmer Martin, 73, widow of Samuel H. Martin of Hagerstown, died Saturday at Western Maryland State Hospital. Notice was in Frederick News June 12, 1966.
