He was suddenly stricken while sitting with his family and expired before medical aid arrived. The doctors say that his death was due to neuralgia of the heart. The deceased was about 66 years old and has resided in Wilkes Barre twenty years and is survived by a widow and nine children. They are William C, Fairview; Walter L, Parsons Court, Wilkes Barre; Mrs. John Haines, Spring Brook; Mrs. Gilbert Yeisley, Kingston, Mrs. Charles H Stahl, 338 North Washington street; Mrs. Samuel Walp, River road; and Mary R, John O, and Daniel J at home. Mr. Broadhead was a member of Pittston Lodge I.O.O.F. and attended worship at the Central M.E. church. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock; internment in Hollenback cemetery.
