Son of Walter R. and Nora (Beil) Brobst and husband of Flora Brobst. They were married 26 years. He was a 1968 graduate of Dieruff High School in Allentown and worked as a mechanic for Bethlehem Steel Corp. from 1973 to 1984. He then joined the Navy and served for 20 years from 1984 to 2004, retiring as a petty officer, 1st class. He was onboard the USS Peliliu in Afghanistan when the war began. He earned a masters degree in human resources from Chapman University, California, in 1992 and received his teaching certification from the state of California in May of 2005. His plan was to teach in the San Diego area when he passed away after a long struggle with cancer.

I recently learned that Randy had passed away and felt so bad about it. He was a very nice young man as I remember him long ago.

Hello, I may have not know you personally but I'd like to say that you were a great man. You did so many thing's throughout your entire life and made so many people happy. You made a wonderful family and I hope you rest in peace.
