Amy Ethel (Means) Brockway, 89, of Perry died April 21, 2003, at Madison Health Care Center in Madison.
Born Aug. 31, 1913, in Painesville, she lived in Bushnell before moving to Perry 80 years ago.
She was a 1931 graduate of Perry High School. She enjoyed traveling to Florida.
Mrs. Brockway was a homemaker and worked in the marking room of Carlisle's in Painesville.
Survivors are her daughthers Nancy (Robert) Waclowski of Springdale, Ark. and Kathryn (Douglas) Heath of South Lake, Texas; sons, Phillip (Nicki) Brockway of Painesville, Roland Brockway of Painesville, Donald (Karen) Brockway of Madison and Robert Brockway of Perry; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wade Means of Painesville.
Her husband, Paul Brockway, whom she married July 2, 1935, in Ripley, N. Y., died in 2000. Her mother, Amy (Houston); father, Louis Means; sisters, Lola Willback, Marion Whipple and Hilda Otto, and brothers, Leo and Dale Means, are also deceased.
