David Glenn Ardrey, 48, husband of Catherine "Cathy" Ferguson Ardrey of Charleston, SC passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012. The relatives and friends of David Ardrey are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in James Island Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
David was born on April 17, 1963 in Altoona, Pennsylvania son of Margaret Ann Gailey Ardrey and the late William Glenn Ardrey. He received his Bachelors degree from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN and his Master's in Music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He served as the former Music Director for Eastbridge Presbyterian Church and was attending James Island Presbyterian Church. David's greatest joys were acting in productions with Charleston Stage Company, directing the choir at Eastbridge Presbyterian Church, singing, cooking, and playing the trumpet. He worked as a courier for Bullet Deliveries.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Cathy Ardrey of Charleston, SC; his mother, Margaret Ardrey of Altoona, PA; one sister, Joyce Ann Acker and her husband, Randy, of Martinsburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
