CHARLES D BECKSTEIN 'Becky'--78:
died Saturday [7-18] at Greenvl Hosp following an extended illness. He was born 24 Dec 1902 at Sharon, son of Henry & Weltha Lininger Beck-stein. He married MARTHA SUTHERLAND 14 May 1952. He was a self-employed carpenter. Prior to that he worked for 30yrs at Greenvl Steel Car. He was a member of Greenville First Presbyterian Church & Eagles Aerie-805 Greenville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Chester-Greenvl; & Robert-Biloxi MS; 3 step-daus: Lucille (sp-Howard) Bales-Meadvl; Lillian (sp-Gail) Lewis & Jean (sp-Rob't) Leyden-both Greenvl; 7 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren 1 gr grandchild & 15 step-gr grandchildren.
Service will be held today at Wm Baird Funeral Home-Greenville with Rev Rich Hansen-First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be at ShenangoValley Cem.
