HAROLD L JONES 'Curly'--88:
died Wednes-day [12-1] in UPMC Horizon-Greenvl. He was born 13 Jan 1911 in Greenville, to Thomas & Hazel Thompson Jones & retired in 1972 after 30 years from Chicago Bridge-Iron Co-former HempfieldTwp plant, where he was a welding supervisor. MrJones belonged to Zions Reform-ed United Church of Christ. The 50yr member of Benevolent-Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 145-Greenvl enjoyed hunting, fishing & playing cards.
Surviving is his wife, the former Mildred Sher-bondy, whom he married 9 Mar 1934. He was preceded in death by 2 bros, Ralph & Robert & a sis Lillian McCullough.
Private funeral & committal service will be held Dec 6th in ShenangoValley Cem, with RevPhil Garner, pastor of Zions Reformed United Meth-odist Church-Greenvl officiating. Arrangements by Baird FuneralHome.
