Stockwell - Mrs. Alice Aichholz Maguire, 89, of Stockwell, died at 9 a.m. Sunday in Home Hospital. She had been in failing health several months and hospitalized since November 1. Born at Madisonville, Ohio, she moved to Stockwell in 1910. She married in 1913 in Covington, Kentucky, to Clarence Maguire, who died in 1959. Mrs. Maguire helped set up the Home Economics Department and cafeteria at Wainwright High School and she was employed there several years. She was a member of Stockwell United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Lauramie Township Farm Bureau. There are no immediate survivors. (Lafayette Newspaper, Monday, November 22, 1982)
