Birth: Jul. 12, 1878
Kentucky, USA
Death: Mar. 5, 1946

Kentucky native Charles Wesley Harp enlisted Jun. 20, 1898, in Missouri. He was honorably discharged Mar. 3, 1899, having served as a Private, Company L, 2nd Missouri Infantry Regiment. According to his WWI draft registration, he was deputy sheriff of Holbrook, Arizona and was married to Gertrude Harp (first wife or is this another name for Nettie?). He and Nettie Harp had a daughter together - Betty Louise Harp (b. 2 Feb. 1925 in Winslow).

Per his death certificate, he was the son of Thomas Harp and was born in Roeta (sp?), Kentucky. His death certificate indicates he was buried in Winslow on March 8, 1946. The U.S. Headstone Application for Military Veterans confirms he was a Spanish-American War veteran and was to be buried at Desert View.
