Green Forest, Arkansas
Delbert Summers Harp, 75, of Green Forest died on September 24, 1994 at his home. He was born on March 8, 1919 in Marble, the son of James Monroe and Sarah Elizabeth (Foster) Harp. He was a retired backhoe operator. He served in the Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillis Laverna (Haley) Harp; his parents; his brothers, Chester Harp, Daniel Harp, James Harp, and Lloyd Achel Harp; and his sisters, Ada Ethel Haley and Elsie Fay Littrell. He is survived by his brothers, Boyd Rachael Harp and Noel Elbert Harp, both of Green Forest. Funeral services were held yesterday at Lower Campground Church with Rev. Harold Duvall officiating. Interment was in Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
