Mrs. George Brown Died Early Saturday;
Native of Carrington Community Died After Short Illness-Funeral Sunday:

Mrs. Mary C. Brown, 57, wife of George V. Brown, died at 3:50 o'clock Saturday morning at her home two miles south of Fulton. She had been in failing health as a result of a rheumatic attack for about a year but had been seriously ill only two days. Dr. Fergusion of Fulton was the attending physician.

A funeral service was conducted at the home at 3:00 o'clock Sunday Afternoon by the Reverand Dr. A.W. Tandy, pastor of the First Babtist Church of Fulton, and burial was in Hillcrest Cemetary.

Mrs. Brown, before her marriage, was Miss Mary Clara Faubion. She was a daughter of Alexander and Annie Faubion, pioneer residents of Callaway County, and was born December 9, 1873, on a farm near Carrington. She had lived practically all her life in this county.

She was united in marriage to George V. Brown of Fulton on May 26, 1901. He survives of the home.

She also leaves two sisters, Mrs W.H. Craighead and Miss Jessie Faubion, of Dewey, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the Babtist Church in Fulton.

The arrangements were under the direction of the Leo Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton.

Death Cert#17282:

Mary Clara Brown, 57, of Fulton, died May 9, 1931 at her home.

Dr. A.D. Ferguson, of Fulton, pronounced death caused by Erysipelas (Ears, Nose and Brain). The informant was George V. Brown, spouse of the deceased.

Mrs. Brown was born December 9, 1873, in Missouri, the daughter of Alic and Annie (Richardson) Faubion. She was united in marriage to George V. Brown and he survives. Mrs. Brown was a housewife.

Arrangements were under the care of Leo G. Wallace Services in Fulton. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton.
