Birth: Jan. 12, 1875
Denton County

Death: Jun. 11, 1960
Swisher County
Texas, USA

Daughter, and eleventh child of Hardin D. Wilson and Mary Caroline McDonnel Wilson. Married to Samuel Houston Braly on 10 Nov 1891 in Audubon, Wise County, Texas

Ida Viola was called "Mamie" by her first grandchild - Dena Earle Keim, and all the grandchildren who followed her. She loved the moniker and eventually the entire family called her "Mamie". She & husband Samuel Houston Braly had ten children. They were faithful members of Tulia's First Presbyterian Church, where Sam was an ordained Elder and Ida spent hours in the church basement preparing weekly meals for the local Kiwanis and Lions Clubs to raise money during the Depression for the first pipe-organ in Swisher County.

She always maintained a large garden and orchard for canning and "putting-up" fruits and vegetables. Her hobbies included quilting and darning.
