Betty Ann New was born January 26, 1942 in Willow, Oklahoma to Mary (Young) New and Arlie New. She passed away Sunday, June 6 2010 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, four months and 10 days.
She grew up near Willow and had attended school at Ocina and Carter. She was a homemaker and also had worked at Wal~Mart.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Lillian, Norma Sue, Gwen McGregor and Martha Jane Roles; one brother, George and a son, George Clayton Dobbins Jr.
She is survived by her son John and his wife D.I. Dobbins, Carter, OK; four daughters; Beverly and her husband Donald Shilling, Elk City, OK; Vicki and her husband Neil York, Floss, OK; Twila Banister, Enid, OK and Misti Williamson-Acuna and her husband Johnny Acuna, Carter, OK; two brothers, Delmer New, Wichita, KS and Roscoe New, Granite, OK; 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
