James N. Clancy, 77 of Tolleson died Dec. 19, 1988 at Maryvale Samaritan Health Center in Phoenix.
Born in Millikan, Colo, (to Lewis A. & Nellie McDonald Clancy) Jim moved to Tolleson in 1970. He served in the U.S. Park Service as a forest ranger for 32 years before retiring, most recently at Petrified Forest National Park in eastern Arizona. He was a member of the Country meadows Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife Gladys; two daughters, Colleen Kirk of Coolidge, Kathy Parker of Ahwaukee; one son Michael Clancy of Gilbert; a step-daughter, Joyce Brooks of Tolleson; two step-sons, George Henderson of Buckeye, Glen Henderson of Cottonwood; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, 719 N. 27th Ave. in Phoenix. The family asks that contributions be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
