She was an actress who played belligerent landladies, beleaguered nurses, nosy neighbors, loudmouthed battle axes and maids, lots of maids. She capped her more than 50 year career with a Tony nomination in 2001 for her role as the piano player in Broadway's "The Full Monty." She gave her final performance just 5 days before she died. (bio by: Ron Moody)
