One of twelve children born to William "Glenn" Farley Sr and Bertha Irene Landreth Farely. Jackie Gene "Jack" Farley was born in July of 1939 as was his twin, Jimmy Dean "Jim" Farley. The two of them joined siblings Glenna, Bessie, Linda, Louise, Peggy, Lewis and Leroy. Another older brother had been born in 1927 and had only lived for 2 days. After these twins were born, they were followed by two more siblings: Buddy "Bud" and Patsy.

Jack Farley married Bertha Fay Pippin and together they had two sons: Tony and Randy.

Bertha died on Jan 4 1992.

Jack died on Feb 19, 2009.

Jack will be laid to rest next to Bertha at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Neosho Missouri.


Jack G. Farley, 68, Neosho, died on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at Freeman West Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Jack was born July 28, 1939 in Stark City, MO and was a lifelong area resident. He was a self employed truck driver and had attended the Stark City United Methodist Church. Jack married Bertha Faye Pippin on Aug. 4, 1961 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 5, 1992. He is survived by two sons, Tony Farley and Randy Farley of Neosho; four grandsons, Rusty Farley, Neosho; Brandon Farley, Springfield; Spencer Farley, Fayetteville, AR and Justin Farley, Neosho; three great grandchildren, McKenzie, Bentlee and Lauren; three brothers, Leroy Farley and wife, Martha; Bud Farley and wife, Joyce; his twin brother, Jim Farley and wife, Sharon, all of Neosho; four sisters, Peggy Long and husband, J.C., Neosho; Linda Reynolds, Alaska; Colleen Rumley, Russellville, AR and Pat Bridges and husband, Joe, Stark City, MO and his significant other, Colleen Jackson. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Irene (Landreth) Farley; brother, Lewis Farley, infant brother William Glen Farley Jr (feb 11-13 1927) and two sisters, Louise and Bessie.
