Kansas City, Mo. — Memorial services for Dr. Lydia Anne Moore, 38, Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Lawrence, will be 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at Unity Temple on the Plaza here.
She died Aug. 14, 1994, in an automobile accident near Meade.
She was born May 14, 1956, in Darby, Pa., and lived in Lawrence, where she attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1974. She graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania in 1978 and from Kansas University Medical School in 1982.
Ms. Moore did her residency in family practice in Charleston, S.C., and was a founding member of Family Health Services in Kansas City, Kan.
She was past president of the American Medical Women's Assn., a volunteer at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic, medical director of Medical Lodge East and a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. She was a member of the Penn Valley Friends Meeting and the National Board of the American Friends Service Committee.
Survivors include her companion, Mary Ann Clendenin, Kansas City, Kan.; parents Anne and Thomas Moore, Wayne, Pa.; two brothers, Howard, Northampton, Mass., and Charles, Lawrence; and her grandmother, Lydia Thomas, Wayne, Pa.
