An Application for Letters of Administration dated 16 Jan 1885 was filed in Portage Co., OH, for J. S. Bevington. He died leaving his widow, Catharine A. Bevington and his only heirs at law: Welker Bevington; Lola; Ruth; Rachel; Wendel & Wm C. All but Welker were under 15 yrs of age at the time of his decease. Catharine A. Bevington declined appointment as administrator and asked that T. M. Robinson be appointed as administrator.
