The following obituary was published in the Rosenberg Herald on Sept. 24, 1953:

"Funeral Rites Read Wednesday for Mrs. Suchma"

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Jane Suchma, age 65, were held from the Chapel of the Triska Funeral Home Wednesday morning followed by Requiem Mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m., Sept. 23 with Rev. J. J. Tydlacka officiating assisted by Rev. A. W. Nesvadba. Mrs. Suchma was born on December 6, 1887 in Fayette County, Texas. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Biel. On July 17, 1905 she was married to Charles Suchma and moved to Fort Bend County, where they lived in the Guy Community until they moved to Rosenberg. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge. She passed away at the Polly Ryon Hospital on September 20, after an extended illness. Survivors are her husband, Charles Suchma of Rosenberg, five daughters, Mrs. Clara King of Freeport, Mrs. Hattie Padon of Rosenberg, Mrs. Molly Patton of Houston, Mrs. Eleanor Ward of Rosenberg and Mrs. Anita Baxley of Lake Jackson, ten grandchildren; one brother, A. H. Biel of Long Beach, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Caroline Vasek of Fayetteville and three stepdaughters, Mrs. O. H. Vick of Coahoma, Texas, Mrs. John Weeks of Rosenberg, Mrs. E. A. Baron of Savannah, Ga., two stepsons,Charley and Jerry Suchma of Guy, ten step-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eddie Bezechy, Joe Kucera, Ed Bosak, Joe Dubcak and John and Frank Barak. Interment was made in the Guy Public Cemetery witht the Triska Funeral Home directing. * * *
