Born in Pigadakia, Greece, son of George and Viola Vriner Flesor. He married Sophia Tingos in Danville Illinois, 1914. and they had 8 children: James, John, George, Paul, Mary, Helen, Sophia and Viola Flesor.
Gus owned and operated a Candy Kitchen in Tuscola, IL
Gus moved to Tuscola, Illinois in 1901 and with John Vriner opened the Tuscola Kandy Kitchen. In 1906, he bought the interest from his partner.
In 1908, Nicholas Flesor, Gus's brother came from Greece and became associated with Gus.
In 1912, Thomas Flesor, the youngest brother
arrived from Greece and joined in the business
Gus owned and operated the business until he retired in 1969. He died December 10, 1978.
