David W. Coulter, 52, of rural Paxton died at 1:12 a.m. Sunday (May 2, 2010) at his home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, with Rev. Ed King officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dave was born on April 15, 1958, in Paxton, the son of Melvin E. Coulter and Delores J. Harper. He married Rochelle Reynolds on Feb. 14, 1998 in Paxton. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Paxton; five children:
1. Andrew Coulter
2. Ashton Luhrsen
3. Wyatt Coulter
4. Angel Coulter
5. Whitney Coulter

He left a sister, Debra M. (Larry) Sexton of Paxton
a brother, Daniel R. (Jane) Coulter of Paxton
and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Dave graduated from Paxton High School in 1976. He was active in FFA, and received the State Farmer award in 1976 and the American Farmer Award in 1979. He farmed all of his life with his father Melvin, his brother Dan and brother-in-law Larry Sexton. They were in a partnership known as For-C Pork Farm. He devoted his life to farming and to helping his family.
Cremated, Ashes scattered.
