Linda Karen Timmins Camberg, 58, of Patterson, passed away Thursday afternoon*, July 30, 2009, at her residence following an illness.

A native of Jacksonville, FL, she moved to Pierce County in 1986. She had worked as a clerk in the Emergency Room at St. Luke's Medical Center in Jacksonville for many years and was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered for her love of animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Matthew Timmins and Alma H. Warrick Timmins, and her husband, Dr. Richard LeWayne Camberg.

Survivors include three step daughters, Susanne Reed, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Lorilee Worsham (husband Mark), Savannah, and Lee Camberg, Tampa, FL; four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Reed, Ansley Reed, Marshall Worsham, and John Michael Worsham; one step-great-grandson, William Peyton Reed; and several other relatives.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorialization is by cremation.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a local humane society.
