Geraldine "Gerry" Doyle, age 81, passed away Wednesday, March 9 at Manor Care Health Services, Fargo. Geraldine "Gerry" Doyle was born to Herman and Gena (Jacobson) Offner on August 21, 1929. She grew up in Fargo where she attended Agassiz and Central High School. Gerry worked as a sales clerk, waitress and for St. Mary's school lunch program. She married the love of her life, Tom Doyle, at St. Mary's Cathedral on May 22, 1948. Gerry's life can be summed up in three words......family, family, family. She and Tommy enjoyed many years at their cabin on Lake Ida. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, quilting and music. She was a member of the VFW and Eagles Auxiliary, St. Mary's Catholic Daughters of America, and Royal Neighbors of America. She sang at Memorial Day services for many years. Gerry was also a member of St. Mary's Cathedral for 63 years. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Ingebretson, Fargo, ND, Dee (Ray) Olson, Osage, MN; grandchildren, Matt Olson, Stacy Guinn, Angie Ingebretson, Lisa (Dave) Asplin, Sean Ingebretson; 11 great grandchildren; Aunt Evelyn Iken, Fargo, ND; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her extended family of caregivers at Manorcare of Fargo. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Doyle and many family, friends and beloved pets.
