Loretta Birkland, age 56, passed on to the Lord July 10, 2000 after courageous battle with illness.
She was Born February 9, 1944 to Ivan Winberg and Elinor Greenfield in Murray, Utah. She married Arlyn Asay on May 20, 1960 in Salt Lake City. They were later sealed on February 14, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on December 31, 1994. She also Married Tom Birkeland April 8, 1998.
Loretta always gave more than 100 percent in everything she did,
and served her family unselfishly.
The little lady will be deeply missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Funeral Services were held on Friday July 14, 2000 at 2 P.M. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, where Friends and Family attended a Viewing on Thursday July 13, 2000 from 6 to 8 p.m. and One Hour Prior To The Services.
Entombment was at the Redwood Memorial Estates Memorial Mausoleum.
