Kurtis Elmo Anderson, age 48, passed away August 15, 1999 in Sandy, Utah.
Kurtis was born July 23, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Elmo Harry Anderson and Wanda LaNae Curtis Anderson. He attended Kearns High School and S.L. Community College. Kurtis married Terry Dawn Webb on May 28,
1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada and later solemnized the marriage in the Salt Lake Temple on December 17, 1977. Peacefully, he left this mortal existence in his sleep. His family and friends will greatly miss him. We'll miss his talents of playing keyboards, especially his accordion, his sense of humor, and his beautiful smile. He had the most wonderful spirit about him and he loved his family so much!
Kurtis is survived by his eternal partner and best friend; Terry Dawn Webb Anderson. His precious children; Tobi Kea (Casey) Truesdell, Shane Kurtis Anderson, Keri Ann Anderson, Eldon Newell Anderson. He is also survived by his mother; LaNae Curtis Anderson, brothers; Kelly W. (Stephanie) Anderson, Laine (Suzanne) Anderson, Karl H. (Sonja) Anderson and by his beautiful grandchild; Ashlee Loren Truesdell. Kurtis is preceded in death by his daughter; Angela Dawn Anderson, father; Elmo Harry Anderson and grandmother; Wanda Marie Averett Curtis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 1999 at the MidValley Fifth Ward, 1106 E. 8055 So. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Valley View Funeral Home.
