IN MEMORIAM - Mrs. Katie Spurlock, daughter of Elijah and Martha O'Banion, was born in Wilkinson County September 1, 1802. Joined the M.E. Church at the age of 19. Died May 8, 1897, in Macon County at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Chapman. Was married to Alexander Woodall, March 3, 1822. Had one child. She was married the second time to James Spurlock, May 1824. Had 11 children. She leaves 6 children, 62 grandchildren, 121 great grandchildren, 24 great, great grandchildren.
